Our Story
At Joel’s Vision Ministries, our passion is leading children into the presence of Jesus.
Based in Eagle River, Alaska, our family-led ministry—Travis & Sara, our daughter Grace & her husband Phillip Jr., and our youngest son Seth—is committed to equipping churches, training leaders, and reaching the next generation with the love of Christ.
We believe in the life-changing power of the Gospel and in the plan of salvation according to Acts 2:38—repentance, baptism in Jesus’ Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We hold fast to the truth that no child is too young to be ready for heaven and that kids can experience a genuine, lasting relationship with Jesus.
From hands-on children’s ministry training to kid-focused services and events…even in remote villages… we believe every child deserves to know Jesus in a way they can understand. Through Children’s Crusades, puppetry, storytelling, and fun activities, our heart is to see kids, youth, and families transformed by His presence.
To expand our reach and support children’s ministers everywhere, we created KidMin Connect—an online training and support hub designed to empower, to equip, and to excel those serving in children’s ministry. Whether you’re brand new or have years of experience, KidMin Connect is a place where ALL children’s ministers can gather to learn, grow, and thrive in the calling God has placed on their lives.

Here are some examples of what we do in our ministry,

Family Crusades
We conduct dynamic, Spirit-filled services where kids encounter the presence of God through worship, puppetry, storytelling, and prayer. These Crusades are designed to lead children and families to salvation and strengthen their walk with Jesus.
Workshops
Through in-person and virtual workshops, we train children's ministry teams in areas like storytelling, object lessons, ministry, and altar ministry - equipping them to lead with confidence and creativity.
Church & Village Ministry
We travel to established churches, as well as, underserved and remote communities - especially in Alaska - to bring the Gospel to children and families who may not otherwise have access to regular ministry. No place it too far when eternity is on the line!
KidMin Connect Online Community
Our FREE membership hub provides training, resources, and support for children's ministers at every level. With full on-demand courses, live trainings, and a growing network of passionate leaders, KidMin Connect helps you grow where you're planted.
Creative Resources
From engaging curriculum to downloadable object lessons, puppet scripts, and training materials, we create practical tools to help leaders capture kids' hearts and teach timeless truths in unforgettable ways.
